How laboratory billing works
When your clinician orders lab work, Chemisys bills your insurance first. Based on your plan, your insurer determines what they cover — and any remaining balance becomes your responsibility.
EOB vs. bill
An Explanation of Benefits (EOB) is NOT a bill. It's a summary from your insurance showing what they covered. A bill comes separately from Chemisys if there's a remaining balance.
